ABOUT JDW HOME SOLUTIONS

At the end of 2023, JDW Home Solutions, LLC (DBA as JDW Painting) acquired Colors of Rochester, INC when its owner and decades-long trade veteran, Tom Stress-Johnston, retired. The name of Colors of Rochester and its legacy of integrity and quality will continue under its new ownership.

Colors of Rochester is now a woman and minority-led, fully licensed and insured painting contractor that services Greater Rochester, Monroe County, New York. We provide professional residential and commercial interior painting that customizes a house into your home and an office into your business headquarters.​

Colors of Rochester aims to raise the standard of customer service and quality of the skilled trade industry through efficient communication and detail-oriented work. Giving you, the property owner, the confidence that we will do the job right the first time.

After a decade of working in traditional administrative, sales, and marketing jobs, Worthington decided to apply her work experience and education from SUNY Buffalo and Roberts Wesylean College to start her own business.   

Utilizing her skills in effective communication and timely project management in addition to her training as a painting apprentice at the District Council 4, Local 150 Painter's Union, Worthington founded JDW Painting in 2020. Worthington named the company JDW to honor her mother and grandmother Julia and Dolores Worthington.
